When starting to explore other cuisines, you basically want to imitate your favorite dish you had in an asian restaurant. And my favorite is the Mongolian Beef & Noddles.
Starting with the basic ingredient used in the Asian cuisine which surprisingly for me coming from the middle east is not used as much is Ginger. Now Its one of my favorite ingredients, the taste, the smell it got it all. Then comes to most common sauce used is the soy sauce.
More, Asian cuisine makes you challenge yourself when you add some sugar to your savory sweet to excel that sweet and sour flavor. One of the best combinations ever existed.
I wont be long and let's jump straight into the recipe.

Ingredients:
For the Beef:
- 500 g Beef Sirloin Long Cuts
- 1 Cup Cornstarch
- Oil for Frying
- Salt & Grounded Black Pepper
For the Sauce:
- 10 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Small Piece of Fresh Ginger
- 1 Medium Onion
- 1 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
For the Noodles:
- 1 Pack of Chinese Noodles (Egg based)
- 3 Carrotts
- 2 Bell Peppers
- Baby Corn
- Broccoli
Directions:
- Let's start with preparing the sauce. Start by crushing the garlic and chopped ginger to form a paste.
- In a sauce pan, at medium heat, add some olive oil then the chopped onion. Let it cook till its translucent. Then add 1 Tbsp of the ginger garlic paste. Let it cook together for a couple of minutes. Add the soy sauce, water, brown sugar and cornstarch, the mix it and bring it into a boil at low temperature. With that we have our sauce ready.
- Lets move to the noodles. Start by chopping all the veggies you have. In a pan, at medium temperature, add olive oil and 1 tbsp of the garlic ginger paste then add all your chopped veggies in. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
- In a pot, at medium temperature, add the chines noodles with boiled water. Then let it cook till the noodles are soft. This should take you about 5-7 minutes. Drain the noodles then add it to the cooked veggies pan. Then add half the quantity of the sauce you have prepared and mix it well together. Let it cook for 5 minutes to allow all the flavors to be absorbed. Now we have our noodles ready.
- Last part is the beef! Start by adding salt and ground black pepper to the beef. Then add the cornstarch and mix it well. In a pot, at medium heat, add the frying oil.Try with one piece of beef to know if its hot enough or no. Fry the beef for 3-5 minutes then drain it well from all the oils.
- Last step, put the puzzle all together. In a small bowl, add the rest of the sauce to the fried beef. Mix it well. In your plate, add the noodles, top it with the Mongolian beef and finish it off with some sesame.
For all my healthy followers, you can use these tips:
-Instead of deep frying the beef, you can air fry it it or even Cook it slightly in a pan with olive oil.
- Use low sodium soy sauce, less sodium means less salt and less water retention in your body.
- If you are vegetarian, just skip the whole beef thing and have these delicious noodles.
