Mac and Cheese – It's Basic and Most Important It’s Cheesy!

You know there are some dishes that you like, some that you love, and other are so heart-warming, it’s like a hug!
Who didn’t sneak into the kitchen to have a bowl of Cerelac, or stuff your face into that Nutella jar? Went to the supermarket to buy those chips you used to endeavor every day when young? Why is that? These comfort foods are similar to hugs. They bring back childhood nostalgia.
Who don’t like their childhood? You eat, sleep, play and hate studying but love school breaks. You have no worries in the world; or as Timon and Pumba love to say Hakuna Matata!
Mac and Cheese is one of these dishes that bring that nostalgia back. Kids and Grown Ups love it too!

Ingredients:
- 500 g Macaroni
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 2 cups Liquid Milk
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
- Bread Crumbs
- Salt & Pepper
- Italian Seasoning
Directions:
- In a heated pot, Add boiling water then the macaroni. Once it boils, lower down the temperature and let it cook at low temperature.
- Drain the macaroni using a colander
- In a heated pan, add the butter. Once melted, add the flour. Stir till its thick, then gradually start adding the milk.
- Keep stirring till its creamy and smooth.

- Add Mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning then mix it till its smooth and cheesy.
- Add the cooked macaroni and keep mixing.
- Add the mac and cheese into a safe oven plate. Sprinkle some bread crumbs on top and put it in the pre-heated oven for 5 minutes with the top burner on.
